I couldn't find any other forum to post this in, and I'm sure you all hate the "Which film/video school is best?" stuff, but I'm currently in school for Digital Video and I want to change routes.

My problem here is that most (if not all) schools focusing on Digital Video are for movies only. I don't want to do movies and I never have. I'd like to do advertisements or music videos -- Which I have found some programs for -- and Nature.

I've done searching on my own and have some schools in mind for the other things I mentioned (Advertising and music videos) but I have not found a single place, not even a workshop, where I could even begin to fathom what it takes for Nature Cinematography.

I've found a few workshops that do Nature photography, but not anything dealing with Video.

I realize school is kind of a waste of time for anything related with video. I should really just get out there and intern or PA somewhere. Even if I do not get a degree, I would still like to have some knowledge under my belt of what it takes to do Nature cinematography, or videography, or whatever. I'd like to know what's out there, what sort of careers may be applicable to the subject-- anything.

So if any one has any ideas -- As long as the school/workshop/etc. speaks english, I really don't care how much it costs or where it takes place.

Sorry to bother and thank you in advance; I just didn't know where else to look or ask for hep.

yeah i dont think your gonna find that as a major. it will most likely be part of a major under style of video production. but if you went to a university in the way north like alaska or upper canada. i bet thats all youll learn since there aint nothing but nature and wildlife in those areas lol

I can't even seem to find any courses, workshops, or concentrations, though. Any help would still be appreciated.
