Anyone here ever heard of Link2? Ever use it?
I guess it's a program to help framserve. It can take project files and trick the system into thinking they are avis, then you can feed the avi to any converter program.
I downloaded it, and its the trial version, unless i pay $15 for the full version. Trial is a bit useless to me, as i need to convert 1hr and 2hr videos which were recorded from Media Center, and being edited via vdub.
anybody here use the program Link2? What do you think of it? Is it worth $15?

is there another way to make vdub frameserve to AutoGK? it doesn't seem to work with its default frameserve mode, although it can frameserve to other apps...
i'll check out debugmode frameserver and see how that works out....
EDIT: it seems this is made specifically for certain video editing programs which i do not have...
i just want a way to take my tv recordings, edit out commercials, and then have AutoGK convert them for me. Isn't there a way i could do this, via framserving?asdf -
Did you try the AVIPROXY option of Vdub? Normally it uses the vdr file type but with this option you save as avi.
It's in the folder "aviproxy" in the vdub install directory and you have to run the "proxyon.reg" file to activate it.
There's also a text file with description there.
