I am owner of an Philips DVD 710 player European Pal version with firmware 9.28 (I think this is the newest firmware or not ?) I have made a standard compliant SVCD (480x576 2350kbps) with DVDx 1.6 software My player unfortunately does not play it. My brother's player (Grundig GDV 130) has no problems to play it. Does a Philips 710 Player not play Super Video CD or does perhaps a newer firmware solve the problem ? Does a newer firmware exist and if yes where can I download it ? Or is there another solution for my problem
