DVD+R DL layer break problems

I can't seem to get a working copy with layer breaks. I have read all the information about using PGCedit and can successfully create the ISO and it does burn OK with ImgBurn (Latest version),. The problem is that the DVD pauses and freezes several times around the layer break position. I have tried several different movies, several different layer break positions and 4 different burning programs. I've tried ImgBurn first, then DVDFab Platinum, CopytoDVD and CloneCD. Every single copy with layer breaks has playback issues. I can burn the exact same movie without layer breaks and it is fine except that there is a very noticable pause at the layer break and it is usually right in the middle of a scene. I wasted about half of a 50 pack of DL discs and really need to figure out why this is happening. If you have this exact same issue or know how to correct it please let me know. My DVD burner is a LiteOn LH-20A1L SATA by the way.

If you're not using VERBATIM DUAL LAYER DVD+R media then that's your problem. Use IMGBURN for reading/writing to VERBATIM DL media.
