    I have tried DVD Decrypter, DVD Knife, Snagit, Movie Maker and nothing. ZD was my best so far but the video was way behind the sound.

    I am either not doing something right with these programs. Any help would be appreciated.


    I would like to eventually upload these to youtube.

    DVD Shrink in reauthoring mode, see first step in https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=198813 and then upload the vob directly to youtube. Or use VideoRedo or Tmpgenc Mpeg Editor.

    And this is not any DVD AUthoring. Moving you to our editing section.

    You could use DVD Shrink and just cut out a clip. Or use VirtualDub Mod. It will open DVD VOB files directly, then you can edit out what you don't want and convert the clip to Xvid or whatever AVI type format, along with the audio.

    Both programs have guides available in our 'Tools' section.
