I got it for the 360. Bought it on rave reviews only. Didnt really need another FPS. Am not disappointed.

It is the total package. Graphics,story line, smooth gameplay......

Dont ask.Just buy it.

It does not. I played it on the PC even though my video card only met the min. specs.

No 360. I have a vista pc with a nvidia 8400.

I bought it today and am installing it right now

EDIT - DAMN! My activation code isn't working!!!! I tried entering one of the letters as both a 0 and a O and none of them is working!!!!! I sent an email to the support board for the retreival code. They gave a long string of codes for a retreival request. I'll be pretty upset if I don't get a quick automated response.

Well yes and no. I did finally got the activation code working!!!

Now it seems like I've got a sound driver issue. It's really echoey. Also its a bit sluggish on high. It says to update the nvidia drivers but I go through nvidia website and it says I've got the latest version 162.22.

It looks very good so far though

Edit - I found a link at the bioshock support page for new nvidia drivers. They are beta 163.44. It is directly from the nvidia website so I'm not going to be using "hacked" drivers. I'm hoping this does the trick.

Edit 2 - DAMN! IT looks great now! However I lost the sound!!!! AHH!!!! ANyway it definitely looks to be a good game. I'll have to tackle the sound issue tomorrow night.

Edit 3 - NO SOUND STILL!!! The weirdest part is the pregame trailer stuff has sound and even the game menu has sound!!! then when the game starts nothing!!!! If this keeps up this weekend I'm buying the cheapes soundblaster 5.1 soundcard I can find and plop it in.

I have sort of again.

I tried installing what seemed to be new sound drivers. It was weird it uninstalled them, rebooted, but then the sound was still there! I decided to try to boot it up anyway and walla it worked! It's still a bit scratchy and the controls are finicky now.

Today or tomorrow I will go out and buy a Soundblaster audigy se. THose are 7.1 but I only have a 5.1 speaker set which is ok. It says on the soundblaster website that it supports vista. I sincerely hope so. I really don't want to spend 70 on the x-fi series entry level card when the audigy is only 30.

The maddening thing about it is my motherboard sound works fine on dvds and halo 2. It's just picky on bioshock.

I bought the audigy and seems to be working just fine. Though I have to admit I turned down the detail a touch and is running much better now.

Though I'm seriously considering buying an xbox 360 for my new hdtv. I might look around for a used 360 version and sell my pc copy

Well the other day I bought a used xbox 360. Really rocks on hdtv!!

BUT I now have a wireless 360 controller with it. So I finally decided to buy the wireless usb adapter for windows to get the controller to work on the computer.

Funniest thing the install disc doesn't work in VISTA! I thought that was totally hilarious. A fully 100% official Microsoft install program wouldn't install on windows vista!! However it did have a "go online" button and in like two or three clicks I found and downloaded the 32bit driver install file. Works like a charm now!

I can't believe it but BIOSHOCK is actually a little smoother to play on the controller. I guess the few days I've been playing HALO 3 and GEARS OF WAR have beat me down into a controller user!!!! I'm sorry........

Though I still swear buy the keyboard and mouse usually but this 360 controller is extermely comfortable and easy to use.....
