Hi There,
I've previously used a NTSC mini dv camcorder, recently I received a PAL mini dv camcorder. What I've discovered is that when I put in a tape into the PAL cam, that has recorded content from when I used the NTSC cam, its playback is choppy. The same happens when I try to upload the video to my PC.
I'm assuming this is supposed to happen because the tape was previously recorded in a different format, yet I'm trying to play it back on a cam that doesn't recognize that format?
Barring getting a NTSC cam, is there a way for me to upload the videos to my PC so that they can then be used in my PAL camcorder?

I think your SOL. Maybe borrow a NTSC miniDV or buy a cheap one and recycle it to eBay when you're done?
