mov. to any video file uploadable to youtube

I have a old mov. movie i made on a mac that i then made into a vcd on the mac, i now want to convert it to any file i can upload to youtube on my pc, is this even possible? ive tried several programs with no luck

Try mpeg streamclip if you want to convert the mov. Or do you want to convert the vcd???

What files do you see on the vcd? you should have a MPEGAV folder on the VCD with .dat file(s). Use vcdgear to convert the dat video files to a standard mpg file. It might even work fine just to rename the .dat file(s) to mpg and upload to youtube.
