  1. I have got Atlantis.avi, a Dominion Rip.
    I extracted the audio with Virtual dub and saved as .wav and used TMPGenc v.12a to encode to SVCD (Mpeg2), with the source for video as the .avi file and source for audio was the.wav file.
    It appears to have encoded fine, no "out of sync" issues, except about halfway through the video, the AUDIO disappears completely. I've checked both source .avi and .wav files, and they have no glitches or errors. the video is fine, but halfway there is no Audio.
    Is this some Disney anti copy trick, or is there some kind of fix for this?

    try encode the wav audio to mpa with another encoder(toolame or something) and if that work you can multiplex it with the encoded video.
