Windows freestyle

Does anyone know what style of video Windows Freestyle is going to support and how it works. I have been unable to find any details for a product Microsoft is planning to release by the end of the year? Thanks

This place reckons it has a demo of freestyle 2.31 for windows but it will not let you in if you are not a member so I don't know if this is the same thing you are on about.
You have to sign up.

Windows Freelstyle and Mira due out at the end of this year (maybe?) will have a new use interface to all you to view pictues, music, and photos on your TV using a remote. This is not to be confused with the Microsoft game freestyle. I am curious if freestyle will use a version of media player to play videos. I want to convert all of my home videos but the xsvcd that i create still shows pixilation in some of the frames compared to when I use the DVD Settings. I hope to be able to use freestyle to store and view my video collection as easy and cheaper than buying and making DVD's.

Like I said mate I don't know if that is the thing you are looking for but if you click it and then click home it takes you to the web site that is dedicated to pc applications of the audio type with 3900 downloads available for all sorts of stuff like mp3 , cd-r , dj , mixing , midi , sampling and the like.

That link takes you to a members only download and all the other stuff to download is freely available for non-members.

And I can't see them making it a members only thing just for a demo of a microsoft game as it's not a pro m/s site.

This freestyle multimedia application seems right up their street.............

sounds to me like a big icon version of media player...

oooh, and i love the fact that now people will be able to record tv shows to their harddrive!! havnt we been doing this for years now??

sounds like an idiot friendly way to do everything we already do with a computer with a cature card and tv-out... oh yippy, they added a remote!
