I was under the impression that you didnt need to deinterlace video when creating an SVCD to playback on your TV.
I am capturing analogue PAL video, using TMPEGEnc to cncode to PAL SVCD, then nero to burn, but i am getting the interlace effect on my TV.
I can deinterlace using Virtualdub, but can someone confirm if i need to, or am i doing something else wrong?
