    hi
    i have just downloaded a movie from kazaa,it is a avi file(what ever that is)i cannot play it,all i can do is listen to it,this is all i can do with the windows player.can somebody take me through how to put it on a vcd,i have downloaded a program called tmpgEnc,i was told this is what i need,but when it asks 4 the video file i point to it in my folder but it says:
    cannot open or unsupported,but the audio works fine when i point it at the same file,please help this newbie,cause i aint got a clue.

  2. If you can hear it but it has no video then your computer doesn't have the video codec that the movie is using. I'd say there is a 90% chance the movie is using DivX, and in that case go to www.divx.com and get the newest ver. (4.02 i think). If you can't play it you also can't make a vcd.
