downloaded two avi files
(1) one i converted with avi2vcd and and it became a bunch of stills with a sound track {updated codex for that, it fixed that problem but now avi2vcd is padding the audio on the fly which puts it out of sync.
is there any way to adjust this so that the audio will sync up??![]()
{2} the second file i have plays well as avi, sound every thing, i converted this one with TMPGEnc and just for good measure i converted it with LSX-MPEG Suite, the sound disappeared in both conversions.
Any ideals????![]()

Easygee if you find the answer to the second file's problem could you let me know too. I am having the same audio problem with a avi/divx file of mine.

how about extracting the audio with virtualdub, then opening the avi in tmpg as videosource and your extracted audio as audiosource?
