I love it! Finally some excellent tunes. I ran and Turning Japanese in particular should be loads of fun.

It says it will be out at 7-24. I preordered at Bestbuy today.

    Side note -

Is the rumor true that they will finally start offering any song you have to be turned into a guitar hero song??????? If so which system????? I HOPE that it would be available on the ps2 as that is the version of Guitar Hero that I have. But I don't know how you would be able to get a hold of custom songs without a true network system - unless you could download the song online and then use a gameshark to upload it to a memory card perhaps???

If it would be only avialable on a next gen console I would buy it for the WII in a heartbeat - since it has the WII STORE you can download stuff already and I assume you would have a purchase option somehow.

Anyway this 80's game sure sounds like the best of GUITAR HERO bar none!!!

    Bump!

Well I picked up my copy this past Tuesday. IT ROCKS!!!

This is a great set. No grunge, no heavy heavy metal, just pure 80's rock!!!

So far my favs are WE GOT THE BEAT - GO GO'S, I RAN - Seagulls, SHAKIN - Eddie Money, and Heat of the Moment - Asia.

I'm up to level 4 on Hard mode. I only have that Romantics song to beat to move on.

I've yet to ever see a Wii in stores. Even XBOX 360 has been sold out a lot around here. I saw the GH demo on 350.

I know. I can't wait for it. Plus, it'll have online play. I love the fact that Nintendo doesn't charge extra for that like M$ does.

The thought of two people "jamming" and talking to each other online makes me giggle .. a lot lol

Not in a bad way though .. just seems funny to me

ya know some people get real real good at this type of game but cant play a note on a real guitar. just imagine how good a person could get if they put as much energy into learning how to play a guitar as they did learning how to play a game.. its interesting to me.

ive seen the toy guitar for the game and it has a few colored buttons and a plastic piece where the strumming takes place. why not use a real guitar and real strings? the quick finger movements are the same. now thats something i would pay money for and if they made it for all sorts of things like piano drums etc so the end result is that you as a game expert you were also an expert in playing the instrument.
