Hi, a newbie but oldie here,
I have got quite a lot of music mpegs and would like to put them onto dve and show them at our local pub, as I do a quiz for them every sunday
Their dvd player is a sunfly
I also have a dvd of northern soul and would like to be able to just take small sections from it and put it on dvd as it is too long to play it all
I hope someond can help me![]()
regards Gran
PS, I'm an oldie, but am quite good on the pc, I use cool edit to take samples of mp3's for our quiz, so I learn very quickly, ha ha![]()

If the music mpegs are just that, mpeg video files, to put them onto DVD they will need to be authored. If you've only got a few to do, there is a 30 day free trial of Ulead DVD Moviefactory available from www.ulead.co.uk. Download that and do the job.
Open the DVD in DVDShrink and use Re-Author mode. Drag the main movie from the right window to the left and then use the Mark In, Mark Out buttons to select your first clip. Drag the main movie again and use the same method to select your second clip and so on. -
WOW, Thanks for the quick reply, I will get to it right away

A very simple way that may work is to just copy the MPEG files and make a data disk.
Many DVD players will present a file menu and you can just select and play them with the remote -- my player recognises a few filetypes, like MP3, MPG, JPG and can deal with them. Newer players can also do AVIs.
