Hey all!
I'm pretty new at all this and (currently) just had one question.
I'm using Panasonic MPEG converter and after I change the movie from divx to mpeg it is still too large to burn on a regular CDR.
Am I missing a step or have I not formatted the mpeg properly??
Any help would be welcome! :D
Thanks!

you are going to have to cut it. a 74min cd can hold roughley 74 min. so you can cut accordingly. use tmpgenc to cut it. it has a mpeg tools area under the file dropdown menu.

Here's the scales for different CDRs:
74 minutes is actually 74 minutes and 30 seconds.
80 minutes is actually 79 minutes 30 seconds.
99 minutes is about that but I have managed to go a few seconds over.
If you use Nero 5.5.5.whatever, you can actually overburn 80 minutes CDs safely up to 81 minutes and74 minute CDs up to 75 minutes.
Have fun. -
I've successfully burned a 795mb file on an 80 minute cd-r using Nero version 5.5.6.4. I don't know what that converts to in minutes but that's a major overburn.

the max you can fit is 810mb on a 80min cd. 759 is not an overburn. it stores vcd and svcd data differntly then it does straight data.
