I have a 62u series aquos lcd, and the new BH100 Blue Multi player from LG (Which now I wish I would have just bought separate units). When I try to set the Blue Multi player to 1080p, the picture goes out on the tv, and says invalid input. The only thing I have been able to find is in the Blue Multi's guide book it said that TVs that only accept 1080p in 60hz arent supported. Im gonna guess that the Aquos only accepts 1080p in 60hz, and I have answered my own question. However, maybe someone here knows something that I dont.

I am going HDMI out to HDMI in. I have also downloaded the firmware update for the Blue Multi player, and installed it. That seemed to do absolutley nothing for me. It did do the update, I know that much, but nothing has changed from my perspective.

Return the LG BH-100 or buy a new HDTV that accepts 1080p/24.

    All Explained here http://www.ultimateavmag.com/hddiscplayers/307lgblue/

"But it won't output 1080p/60 at all. Although the number of displays that will accept 1080p/24 is growing, 1080p/60 compatibility is more common. And if the Multi Blue detects that the display isn't 1080p/24 compatible it automatically sends 1080i. While this isn't a death knell for image quality, especially if your set can deinterlace 1080i properly, the less processing the better in a purist sense"
