Hello, I am new to the forum due to my dvd recorder, the hitachi dv-ds253a, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction or I will have to go and buy a different machine.
My problem is I am trying to record from the hard drive to a dvd so I can store the data on my in house server, but what burns on the dvd can only be played back on the hitachi, it won't even play back on a standard dvd player and on the PC where I want to store it, the disk shows up as blanc. Any assistance would be appreciated.
