I am just wondering with the popularity of the Pioneer DVRs, specifically the 640, why there isn't a flurry of activity on hacking the USB port. Firmware can be loaded from disc and the USB port already interacts with the hard drive, so how big of a stretch is it to hack in and allow upload/download of something other than photos and music? If I could upload MPGs and edit and burn to DVD - I'd be in heaven.
Alas, maybe I already am in heaven just dreaming that any of this could be possible
Anyone?
