    Windows Media doesn't support .VOB extension right? Windows Media Player only supports these extensions--> asf, wma, wmv, mpeg, mpg, avi, wav, mp3, midi, aiff and au, right?

    But when I inserted my DVD disc it will play, why is that?...I need your replies ASAP...

    It plays when you have an mpeg2 codec installed.

    mpeg2? DVD video extension is .VOB...Is mpeg2 = VOB?

    This ought to be a sticky...

    VOB = MPEG2 PROGRAM STREAM +

    (the + includes LPCM audio, subs, text and navigational features)
