hi, im a noob. can anyone help with the following problem?: how can i add multiple videos to a single dvd. i have a series of about ten videos that id like to convert to dvd and burn. i know i cant get all ten on one disc, but id sure like to get more than one video per dvd. that'd be such a waste of dvds. i use divx to dvd to convert to dvd, then i have a program called dvd shrink that i was told would allow me to add multiple dvd videos to one disc. how do i go about doing this? thanks in advance

Main thing here is that you need a fairly straightforward authoring tool. Do your conversions and then simply add multiple tracks to your project with an authoring tool. You can then create a main menu to select your desired track. A lot depends on how long each track is, bitrate, file sizes etc etc. Do NOT go too overboard. I try to keep a disc to approx 2-2 & half hours(max) in length.

IMO i prefer TDA as it is very easy and self explanatory. DVDShrink literally does what it says on the tin should the output be a little too big.

DivxtoDVD will convert multiple videos to a single disc - just hold down the shift or ctrl key when you select them.

Personally, I think it is worth upgrading to ConvertXtoDVD, or looking at something like DVD Flick. The old DivxtoDVD's quality isn't up with the newer programs.

Depending on your source you might get to 3 hours, but I believe 2 - 2.5 is more realistic.

You are much better off encoding to the correct size the first time, than encoding too large then using a transcoder like Shrink to make it fit. It takes long and the quality is lower.
