    Hi,

I am using Vista Media Center.

I have problem to play any recorded TV content including the sample files.

It is often freezing for half a second, and sometimes it looses the video/audio sync for a few seconds.

If I play the same file using Nero Show it is OK.

Any other media are playing hassle free.

Any ideas how to solve this annoying problem?

    Thanks,
    Amir.

Which capture card are you using, which encoding method, which decoding method, which codec, and what sort of machine are you running this on. If it's the one in your profile then I can see numerous reasons why Media Center (especially the Vista version) wouldn't run very well.

Sorry.. I didn't update my profile for a very long time. Now it's updated according to my HTPC computer.

VMC is working very good for me for all regulars decoders (xvid, divx, H264, X264 etc.).

I am using vista native codecs (Microsoft mpeg2 video decoder), same with audio.

I simply record/watch TV via the Media Center application, without any modifications (as far as I know).

    Thanks again.
    Amir.
