how do you get rid of hard subs? especially rmvb ones?

i have a bunch of files that have hard subs, and they are in rmvb. any help is appreciated thanks.

I doubt you can if they are burned into the video. You can try masking them, but that will damage the video and you would have to re-encode anyway.
