  1. I've made a xvcd with var.bitrate using cce to make a mpv-file and vob2audio to make a wav then toolame to make a mp2-audio. But when i try to multiplex using TMPGEnc or BBMpeg there is a errormess. about buffer underflow or something and when the movie is complete the second half is only stillpictures, but the whole movie is there. What settings schould i use when i multiplex???

  2. How is it you are trying to Multiplex ? is it using the main screen of TMPGEnc or are you using the MPEG Tools (under file) in TMPGEnc ? and also are you using the latest 2.5 ? lots of bug fixes there.

  3. In TMPGEnc I'm in the tools section, and i'm using ver.2.02 havent tried 2.5 yet. If i'm using BBMPEG I always get some errors when it's about xvcd. Seems like it works best if I choose Mpeg-1 instead of VCD in the "meny". And i think that i should change packetsize to the same as in VCD(not same in Mpeg-1). Any other tips for the best way/settings to multiplex?

  4. Well, if it's VCD, I used to use XingMPEG, back in the old days when I encoded with Panasonic and then Multiplexed with Xing.

  5. Does that apply for XVCD too?

    Another question:

In Nero i can burn a 790meg mpg-file, but if i want chapters or menu and using TCSV to create a bin-file i get problems. Wich program is best to use and/or what settings to use? I've been trying with Fireburner but there the file can't fit properly on a 800meg-disc.
What am i doing wrong or doesn't the rule about 80min =800megs if it is a bin/cue-file?

  6. The rule of 80min = 800mb doesn't apply to anything above VCD standard.

If you create a Cue/Bin file, make sure you burn with one of these compatible programs: BlindWrite, CDRWin, FireBurner or CDRDao Gui's
