Hi i have a movie, and when i use Virtual Dub and save the wav of the movie, the wav is about 2 seconds too short. THis makes the sound out of sync, also when i open the movie in Vd, a message says

"It has detected a improper VBR audio encoding in the source avi file. It will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values. This may introduce up to 19122 ms of skew from the video stream."

Now i dont know what that means, but when i save it as wav and encode using TMpG that sound is totally out of sync, the sound is like 2 seconds behind. Here are the specs on tha avi file:

width: 576
height: 240
AUDIO:
audio duration: 1:30:02
bit rate: 141 k/bs
audio format: mpeg layer 3
VIDEO:
23fp/s
data rate: 132kbps
vid sample size: 24 bit
Vid compresion: DivxMPG4 V3

Now what can i do to make the sound in sync? would it work just to stretch the audio across the whole track? what can i do? i read the tuts here but i dont think they apply to this movie... Someone please write something
