  3. Yesterday I found DUP-DVD. I've been testing with it and it looks like it will work fine if you don't mind getting your movies upon 2 or 3 cd's. About the quality I can't tell you much right now. As far as I know you only can use the ifo file to open a vob file and it has to convert at least the first vob file. Therefore I'm in the middle of a few tests if the result is satisfying. To create a vcd (highest quality) from one vobfile (1 gb) will take about 2 hours of your time. Did a test on lowest quality but the result wasn't very good. I'll let you know how my vcd high quality test and svcd high quality test will end.

  4. Tried it, if you select the Max quality VCD it will take about 12 hour or better to run, it has a time line to let you know, on a standard VCd it will take about 5-6 hours total.........I think for the money you would be better off using the "Freewaree" available here.........

  5. How to crack DUP-DVD? I want to run a full test but the program will do only 1/4 of the process.

  6. Can't crack it ...they have it tied to their site, and if you move the Key file it won't work on another PC unless you ask them for another Key file, kinda' like our buds at Microsoft on the XP stuff.........

  7. sounds like a few of you have purchased the software.

i am trying to create vcd of the the soprano's 1st season dvd set. i can make a vcd of the 4th disc just fine (only 1 episode on the disc). on discs 1,2 & 3 i can only create a vcd of the 1st episode of the disc (these discs have 4 episodes each on them). i can't make a vcd of the remaining 3 episodes on the disc.

i downloaded the trial to see if it can do it. i noticed that the dup-dvd software can only see the 1st episode (approx 56mins) of the multi-episode disc (so the software does me no good).

has anyone been successful in creating a vcd from a multiple episode dvd?

No I don't mind because I can use CDRW or cheap CDR spindle

Hmm...it is a good thing that the program has a time line to let the user know how much time it takes to do the ripping but 5 , 6 or 12 hours for ripping is way too long

I guess the best way to rip a DVD movie would be to buy a VCD recorder and hook it up to a DVD player and press record and that only takes the same amount of time to play the movie ?
