When I use nero vision on a DVD someone sent me that is in PAL format and 1Hr 55 min 2 problems happen.

    1. There are small little glitches where the VOB files are cut up. I pull 5 VOBs off the original DVD and put em into Nero Vision, however it seems to treat them as mini videos. Like the first VOB is the first 28 mins of the movie, and so when I view the newly converted movie at the 28 min mark there is a little jump of about 1 second when it goes to the 2nd part of the movie, 2nd VOB.

    2. My 4th VOB wont even appear in the final video even though I visually can see it in the original copy and I know I opened it in Nero Vision while opening the other ones. Any help would be appreciated.

Just vob files should not be used for any authoring or editing. Instead convert to one mpg file with vob2mpg or use another authoring tool that can import from dvds like tmpgenc dvd author(choose add dvd video).

  3. When you import the VOB's pick all 5 at a time, Nerovision will ask you if you want to treat them as separate videos or not. If you don't get that message you might have disabled it, then click the more button and look through the options in configure...

With NVE3 you can use the 'Import Disc' option. If the VOBs are separated highlite them all and hit the 'Merge Titles' icon.
