I'm trying to find a way to capture a song that is playing into an MP3 file. I had a program once that would do that but it has been a while and i've forgotten the name.
Thanks

I think audacity can do it. Any freeware program that can record "what u hear" will be able to record any audio that is playing on your computer and record it to a given format. Also chances are if your soundcard is new enough it probably has prepackaged software that can do it. I know my soundblaster usb live 5.1 adapter came with audio recording software and can record on computer sound.
