After the fun of obtaining an LCD and a camcorder that support Deep Colour (see https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=324521&highlight=) now I've got stuck at the cabling.

From the web it would seem you need a cable that supports 10.2Gbps for Deep Colour:

    New HDMI 1.3 capabilities include:

    Higher speed:
    • HDMI 1.3 increases its single-link bandwidth from 165MHz (4.95 gigabits per second) to 340 MHz (10.2 Gbps) to support the demands of future high-definition display devices, such as higher resolutions, deep color and high frame rates.
The problem is I see no cables out there stated as 1.3 except some cheaper ones on eBay. So it seems I have no option but to buy a relatively expensive cable and hope it does 10.2 Gbps.

Did some calling around. The QED site states that the HDMI-P cable is 1.2a certified but I spoke with someone selling a "QED QUNEX HDMI-P CABLE 2mtr IN LENGTH NEW HD Ready" at £42GBP who states the packaging now says 1.3 compliant.
