hi ,im not a computer geek or anythn, but for me i found dvd shrink the easiest to use . you can obtain it free i think off the net . go to google search and punch in free dvd software. i also have any dvd, i purchased this off the net , i find it good to , and not expensive. . but hey others might no of other programs that are better , but for a blonde chick i found i could just pop my dvd in that i wanted to copy and open up dvd shrink and then back it up . quite easy . just remember to put the right disc in DVD not a cd , and also check out the difference between dvd-r and dvd+r and dvd rw .. if you use dvd rw at least if you stuff up you can erase it and still use the disk. however i think you need to check what discs your actual dvd player will take, i have heard some dont take all.

    Hi ridgid.
I too am new to all this. I made a post a few days ago for help in copying DVDs. Below is a copy of a reply I received, it solved all my problems. Great, simple software, and I'm eternally greatful to the guy who made the post:

    "Just use DVDDecrypter.
ISO Read Mode(place the .iso image in your hard drive)
ISO Write Mode(burn/write that .iso image back to a blank DVD)
Confirm the new one works - burn more discs if you need more than one copy.
Delete the .iso image from your hard drive.
    Done"

If you find my post, (page 4 at the time of making this post, look down the list for my name). There's a link to the DVDDecrypter software.

    All the best,
    ralph snr.

keep in mind DVD Decrypter is no longer maintained and has difficulty with the newer copy protection schemes.. a combination of DVDFAbdecrypter and DVD Shrink is more adviseable.

  6. Even easier solution. Don't lend to people that have no respect for your property. When you lend something out, have no expectations it will ever return and consider it lost.

Originals would be ones you created yourself. Anything else is a non allowed topic here.

    Cheers
