Who here is comepletely obsessed with their StumbleUpon?

I've found that I get bored pretty quickly on the internet and always want to click it. Of course then I get caught in the trap of constantly clicking, or I get stuck registering for stuff. I just made an account on Haystack yesterday. It's seriously like myspace but based on finding new music and it's not all crazy spam and stuff.

Like I need another thing to keep me from doing work!

At the time I decided to get my first "decent" Internet connection with a good graphical browser, my ex had good graces to visit her family overseas (grin) ... and I, in turn, took a full week off of work. I spent that week in a coffee-induced euphoria, browsing from site to site to site, linking to whatever struck my fancy. This was before Google ... but the Inktomi search engine (later morphed into HotBot) was a good tool.

Having gotten all my "wow factor" browsing out of my system, I then voluntarily put my Internet adventures on a "leash" of sorts. Since then, I've restricted my Internet use to email ... and browsing only to answer questions or satisfy a particular curiosity. To be honest, most of my web surfing involves news stories I'm interested in ... especially political events.

PS - I tried out MySpace and a few other lookalike sites ... until I started asking myself, "What the heck are you doing here?" There are too many time-wasting opportunities on the net.
