  1. I just completely erased my IBM T-22 laptop and then restored windows using this restore disk that I got from the tech department from my moms company whom I bought the laptop from in the first place(its used). Anyways, after restoring certain things dont work anymore, such as the monitor only displays 16 bit colour, i cant connect to the internet and probably others i havnt discovered yet. I'm guessing I need to reinstall drivers but am not sure which ones. I found the IBM website to be very confusing and the drivers I did manage to download didnt seem to work and I don't know if they were the correct ones or not. Anyways is there some sort of all-in-one driver package that I can downlaod and if so, can anybody help me to find it, thanks.

More info on my laptop is available if needed.

Yes you need additional drivers. No there is not an all-in-one pack.

You might see if the lenovo website has an easier way to find what is relevant. Lenovo bought the IBM pc business.

    www.lenovo.com

You will need the exact model number off of the label on your system.

  3. To add to what oldandintheway is saying go to the lenove website
    at this link
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?doctypeind=9&template=/productse...testyle=lenovo and then folow the onscreen prompts selecting Notebooks and handhelds
    then T22
then look on the bottom of the notebook for the type, it will be something like 2647 or 2648
Then model, for a Thinkpad T22 the actual model would be "T22 2647-3CH" which would be different from an T22 2647-4CE so you need to look carefully. Then after making all the other choices choose what OS you need drivers for. Then download video, NIC, modem, trackpoint and so on. The model which follows the - in type is important as it defines the precise hardware in your notebook

    Good Luck

  4. Hey thanks guys for all your help, with what you guys told me, and a little more fiddling around, I managed to find the right ones and my computer is working fine. Now its just reinstalling video codecs and other software that I have to downlaod and reinstall before its back to the way it was. Thanks again.

  5. Now that you found them, burn them to a CD for the next time. BTW I seem to remember they also have a application that is supposed to find updated drivers and such when it is run. It will show up on the page for your type and model as one of the listed items.

Glad to hear you are back up and running. Don't forget the AV and AS. There is a ton of malware out there.
