Just wondering if anyone was any closer to converting demuxed VC1 and DD+ streams into a single file that could be played in Media Center, Media Player or similar...

So far neither program supports reading HD-DVD discs, or Blu-Ray, but they DO support HD files... so I figure the trick is to encode from the 2 streams into a convenient HD wmv or somesuch...

Without pointing me to the "Encoding HD-DVD for Xbox" thread at Doom9 (which has only confused me more), has someone been able to come up with an easy method of doing this?

    Thanks in advance....

To be able to view a VC1/DD+-video with e.g. media player compatible codecs have to be installed on your system. Like for decoding the VC1-video track the newest ffshow or WMV 9 Advanced Profile (if the VC1-file is contained in a ts-container) or the Intervideo Video Decoder (of WINDVD 8 Platinum). For the DD+-audio track I do not know if the Intervideo Audio Decoder again of WINDVD 8 Platinum is able to decode it, but the Sonic Cinemaster Version 4.1 and 4.2 Audio Decoders I have heard should be able to decode DD+. Then again I am unsure if a DD+-audio track can be muxed into a ts-container. A regular AC3-track can be muxed together with a VC1-video track into a ts-container using EMuxer Pro of www.elecard.com as I have explained in the follwing thread:
    http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=119785&page=2
On doom9.org in the subforum "Decrypting" to my knowledge the decoding or reencoding of DD+-tracks is explained somewhere.

    Good luck
