  1. I have been using DVDx to rip and it has been working quite good. However, is it the best for NTSC? Seems to stretch the video. Sound and video quality are excellent.

  2. That sounds like you have selected the wrong source video ratio. Try 16:9 if you have been using 4:3 and try 4:3 if you have been using 16:9...I think that will solve your problem. As for quality...the best is still smartripper->dvd2avi->TMPGenc. DVDx is certainly the easiest though.....

  3. I tried your preferred solution. And yes, the video quality is very good, however, the DVD2AVI app is not creating any wav files for me. I tried adding the extension (.wav) to the ac3 files but there is still no sound. Well there is some bleeps. What am I doing wrong?
