    I have the option to buy this one, and wanted more info before buying. The store is sick of seeing me return things, so I don't want to do it again if I don't have to.

    Anyway,

    - IRE problems? Adjustments?
    - FR mode? Or at least a 3-hour and 4-hour @ 352x480
    - Hard drive (Tivo) recordings can be transferred to DVD?
    - Something else I should know?
    - Fan shuts off? Always runs?

    Not a lot of info online for this model.

    I don't know how old it is. Maybe it's XS34-generation? So no IRE issue?

    Hi Lordsmurf,
    Did you ever end up buying this machine? I'm looking at the same model for dvr/dvd/tivo recording and was wondering about the quality and if there are any issues with it.
