    is there any app that can multiplex mpeg2 hd (1920x1080) and dolby ac3 elemetary streams to a .mpg or even a .ts file?

    i tried mpeg streamclip but the resulting file is unusable. i also tried ffmpegx 0.0.9x but i wasn't able to get an outputfile without encoding, even though i check passthrough.
    the only other method i know to mux on mac is using mkv container.

    any other suggestions?

    Have you tried Apple's Compressor...?
    What was ffmpegx trying to re-encode...the video
    or the audio?
