I have been having the hardest time with this.

I recently converted a DVD to MP4 no problems...however, when I loaded up another job. It works fine until I get to muxing the files together.

When it does that it the status bar reaches the end, and the % status is at 101% and it just hangs there....for hours.

I looked at the log and I get this:

Exception when trying to update status while a job is running. Text: Value of '101' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'minimum' and 'maximum'.
Parameter name: Value stacktrace: at System.Windows.Forms.Control.MarshaledInvoke(Contr ol caller, Delegate method, Object[] args, Boolean synchronous)
    at System.Windows.Forms.Control.Invoke(Delegate method, Object[] args)
at MeGUI.core.details.JobControl.UpdateGUIStatus(StatusUpd ate su)Job aborted, deleting output file...Deletion successful.
    Processing ended at 6:35:43 AM

Now keep in mind, I never changed any settings what so ever, from my last successful encoding job.

Its not the DVD files, as I have tried numerous ones, even the one that worked before, does not work anymore, they all hang at the muxing part.

I have deleted all the old files (avs, d2v, and all intermediate files), and started from scratch again. Still hangs at the muxing part.

I have uninstalled, and reinstalled megui, and updated to the latest files (making sure I restart my computer)

    Still nothing.

Is there any other program that you guys recommend for DVD2MP4 conversion? This thing only worked once out of 10 tries. Even then, it only worked after I had to update the mp4box.exe file, as I kept getting a mp4box.exe has stopped working error.

    Here are my PC stats:

    Windows Vista Ultimate
    AMD 64 X2 4600+
    2.00GB RAM
    2TB Internal HDD space
    3TB External HDD space

I dont understand how it could work that one time, and never again work correctly again. Is it just Vista being dumb? Because Vista just has a lot of conflicts with encoding problems as it seems, but other Vista users have reported repeated success. Anybody have any ideas? Or perhaps a different program I could try out?

    TIA

Everything is updated to the latest files.

Yeah, I upgraded from a MCE PC...Its been a headache

I mean, my Xbox 360 cant even connect to the Media Center Extender, you would think MS products would be 100% compatible, or at least made to be compatible (especially the 360 and Vista)....It seemed everything just worked better on a XP based machine.

But this is really irritating...I dont understand how it can go to being 100% functional, to totally broken, when I changed nothing from the first successful encoding job.
