I'm trying to decipher a couple of RipIt4Me log entries. The first is:

    Cleaning up cell commands
    VMGM LU1 PGC 1 cell 1 removed (useless) -- Duration 0 s.

(There are approximately 25 of these)

    The second is:

    Cleaning up D:\temp2\VTS_01_1.VOB
    Done. 8 packs removed

    Cleaning up D:\temp2\VIDEO_TS.VOB
    Done. 116 packs removed

When ArCoSS (or something that looks like ArCoSS) is removed, it leaves lots of loose ends and dangly bits behind. RipIt4Me is cleaning these. This type of copy protection works be putting deliberate errors into the DVD structure in places that DVD players won't look, but that rippers cannot avoid. When it is removed it can leave the structure of the DVD in an unplayable state until the errors are corrected.

This was never a protected DVD so there was no ArCoSS or any form of copy protection. It was just an authored DVD from DV tape. What else can these "loose ends"be? I ran it through RipIt4Me just to see what it would find.
