Hello everyone, I have a question about dvd-svcd. I read that svcd's aren't compliant with dvds. However I changed my resolution from my svcd to match a standard compliant resolution to a dvd. Then I changed the audio to mpeg 1- layer II 48khz. I reauthored the svcd so I could burn it on a dvd. I tried to play it and the video is perfect on my dvd player, but my audio didn't play. I put it back in the comp to check the audio and it plays fine. Now I know for dvd-vcd you changed the audio to mpeg 1- layer II also and changed the 44.1 to 48khz and it always works fine. Does anyone know why my audio doesn't play? I use tmpeg to code divx to svcd although my audio never extracts even with lame. So I use procoder to extract mp3 audio from the main source divx avi and multiplex back using tmpeg. Any help would be greatly appreciated..
