  1. Hey guys whats up? I need some help with inserting songs into Sony Vegas. when i try, i pull the music file from the Itunes list, into a memorable file area where i can choose to upload it from sony vegas. When I try though, it comes up with a small little lock on the top left corner of the icon of the music file. i think this disables it from being used. is there any way to make it able to be inserted into sony vegas from Itunes?

also, songs i have as "track 01" or some type of track like that, with no record of its author, etc. will work.

  2. I am guessing it is some sort of Protected file, does anyone know how to unprotect it??

  3. I-tunes has DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection, and can't be freely imported into other programs or devices. (Apple announced today that it would be selling non-DRM music from EMI for a higher price of $1.29.)

The traditional work-around for Itunes is burn the tracks to CD (which Itunes allows) then rip the track from the CD.
