I just downloaded ffmegX and I am trying to convert an avi file to an mpeg. The message that comes up at the end of the progress info is "incorrect frame rate". The window I drag the file into also says "unrecognized" and "no video" and "no audio".
The files aren't being saved as converted files at all. Should I change the frame rate? If so, what should I change it to?

I just found the answer in another post if anyone's wondering,
"Same as source, whenever possible. Try opening your movie in QuickTime Player, Window>Show Movie Info (Cmd-I). Under "FPS", it lists the frame rate for movies."
I was also very stupidly trying to put it in the bitrate field, when it should be in the dropdown menu of the framerate on the right hand side.
