I just got the new Swithfoot cd "Oh Gravity." I really like it. I'm not sure if I like it more than their previous album yet but their are some good songs on the album like Oh Gravity and Burn Out Bright.

What was the last cd you bought?

I never really listened to Switchfoot before I saw their show a few months ago with Moses Mayfield. After that I had to get Oh Gravity as soon as it came out. I really like how they are mainstream enough that people know who they are but they aren't so mainstream that their music has changed to accommodate the masses. I can't wait until they announce who they are going to tour with next. They seem to have really good taste in choosing bands to tour with and I really want to hear the new songs live.

The last one was "Bass: Sweeps & Beats" by DJ Bassman

I bought it because I wanted to see how much smoke would pour out of my amplifier! :P
A man walked into his son's room and said..."Son, that will cause blindness."
The boy said, "Dad, I'm over here."

  4. I havent purchased a cd in years. Music is in a really bad state right now, in my opinion. Every band/group/artist that comes out is more or less a carbon copy of an artist that was a one hit wonder last year. Everything is so cookie cutter. Of course, I dont follow much of the underground/indie scene. Im speaking purely "mainstream/radio" here, which might actually be the problem.

I still have my tried and true faves from years past and once in awhile, I *may* download a song that I heard on the radio that I would consider listening to more than twice .. which is rare. My "music" folder on my PC has 8 songs in it :P

I have no idea what some of the above says, but it sounds good. something about songs from his mothers archive, or something.

You should check out Control by Moses Mayfield. Their new album came out yesterday (The Inside)....they're pretty different than the mainstream "cookie cutter" stuff you're refering to. I think there are a lot of great songs on this album...just a suggestion.

Over two-hour documentation of Falcos way companion of many years, the music producer duo "DoRo", shows again all stations of Falcos of unusual career with his largest hits like "the commissioner" or "Amadeus". Besides colleagues and friends are interviewt, and even their private archives open nut/mother Maria Hoelzl for Falcos.
