  1. Hello! First, I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum; I am new and I don't know exactly where to put this post. I have been considering writing a video player in C, for the TI-Nspire series graphing calculators, which were recently hacked to allow the execution of C code. Sadly, I do not know too much about video formats/different file extensions. I was wondering if anyone here knew of any specific file type that has direct information available about it so I will know what parts of the file my program needs to read, like the information the Wikipedia page provides for .bmp images, but for this specific file type. Thank you very much for your help!

with a 150Mhz ARM processor and 16mb of ram what sort of video do you think you''ll be playing?

I want my computer to render 4 full hd streams in 100x realtime but no amount of coding will ever get me there, the hardware isn't designed for that.
