A Proc Amp from Studio 1 Productions (same people as SignVideo?) just sold on eBay for $183!
(I know the price new is $499msrp, but that is "new with warranty.")
Are prices rising for quality proc amps or, as LS sometimes says, "...it's just somebody with more money than sense?"
I posted this question here because I am interested in buying this proc amp for use with my DVD recorders, and I was hoping for comment from some of the regulars.

eBay has a limited version of supply and demand. By coincidence, and coincidence alone, some months there are more, some months there are less, of any given item. Prices on eBay don't make any sense at least half the time.
There is a toy I've wanted for years. It was $150 loose/complete just 2 years ago. This week I searched eBay for it again, and it was $90 mint in the original box, with at least 15 of them available. Go figure.
If the price is too much for you this month, wait a while.
And "more money than sense" is the primary reason for huge price hikes, and none of those last very long.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
