How good is Apex 600A?

I was thinking of returning this Shinsonic DVD 833 in exchange of this Apex 600A.

Anybody knows what Apex 600A cant do?

Or any players on top of your head that can play cdg?

Well.. first off look at the damn dvd player list on the left side of this page. Then look it up. But I do have a shinsonic 100a model and a Apex 500a. Although they both have great (S)VCD compatibility, the DVD and Audio is ok, but not great.

I have looked at it many times but I want to hear opinions from people who have it. Not that I dont believe the site, i just want to hear experiences about those players.

i have the Apex ad600-a and after i upgraded the firmware it can take just about anything i throw at it. only negative thing i've heard about it is that the drive probably won't last as long as a major brand like Sony or something like that but hell, for 30 bucks you can replace the drive if it goes out...............
