    I used to be able to playback Huffyuv encoded AVI files, but since I had to reinstall W98SE I've lost the playback. The codec is installed and is shown in the list of codec's. I only hear the sound. When I select properties of the AVI file and then preview, the playback is OK (?). Under XP (I run a multiboot system) the AVI file play's without a glitch. Any idea what might be wrong here?

    I used to have the same error happen when I was running a multiboot system too. Perhaps WinXP modifies it or something? Its strange though, just reinstall the Huffuyv driver on Win98 again and hope for the best I guess.

    Well.......this may sound strange but:
    I've removed MS Internet Explorer 6 and went back to 5.5.
    Tadaaaa. Playback regained....
    I'm lost here.....
