  1. hi

I found a rare anime but when I watched it I saw that the intro was in french then its switch to japeneese

when I listened more carefully I heard a other language in the background

    my question is

is there a way to lower the volume of the japeneese and put the other language volume up

    thank

Try adjusting the balance on your speakers, a lot of times they'll put a different language to the right and left channels. If that's the case can extract the audio and copy the channel you want to the other and have it play out of both speakers.

    1 canal = 1 channel in English

This means it's mono. This means you can't do what you propose because there's no way to do this with a mono file. Sorry.

You can put as many sound's, talking, ect. into one mono channel as you want with pretty much any audio editor.

as for seperating something like that... it will never happen.

Have you actually extracted/demuxed the audio and opened it in any audio editor ?
Because i have seen even Gspot report multichannel ac3 & wav as 2 channel, and you really did not make it clear where you got the audio properties from.

  7. I used avicodec to get my audio properties

I used vdub to decompress the audio

If you don't get different laguages out of each speaker as stated above you can't seperate them.

Avicodec sometime's will also report the wrong audio, rare but i have had them both do it.
As i stated before, extract the wav file and open in an audio editor and see what it look's like... if it is actually mono, give it up now 8)

What you propose is extremely difficult. You can try:

    1) Convert the soundtrack to "stereo" (two identical mono tracks).

    2) Experiment with filters to see if you can remove the french from one channel only (if this is not possible, then there is no sense continuing).

    3) Once you have a Japanese only channel, invert it and add it back to the original, unaltered channel. Experiment with the amplitude of your modified channel until you hear mostly frog - oops, meant french.

If you have parts of the ST where the french is by itself, you can sometimes treat it as "noise" (HA, HA, no pun intended!) and try to remove it by applying a noise reduction algorithm, using the french as the "noise sample".

In short, you need a highly correlated Japanese signal and a very highly uncorrelated french with the second track in order to remove the Japanese.

I've had some success in removing dialog from music, but removing dialog from dialog is most likely going to be problematic.
