    i am try to play a c-3 file on my computer which has vista installed.

    windows media player does not play it
    now vlc i get a black flashing screen i get the sound but no pic i have tried installing codecs i tried ffshow and others but none of them work i tried gspot and it says codec installed

    i am stuck now tia for any help

    That's an easy one. Remove Vista, Install XP.

    Just install the ac3 filter. Works for me.
