I dwlded a video with the following specs:
    967 MB, 47 mins
Video Codec - Divx 6.xx (Source is HDV)
Audio Codec - Mpeg Layer 3
    Framerate 23.976
    Video Resolution 1280 x 720

The problem is that my standalone DivX Player can play movies encoded till Divx 3.xx. Is there any way i can re-encode the movie with MPEG-2/XVID/Divx 3.xx retaining the same video resolution, cos the video clarity is really gr8.
Please help, can provide additional info if needed, and please suggest the best encoders/softwares out there, or tutorial maybe. I have Tmpenc Xpress 4.
    Thanks in advance

  2. I guess you have an old player... therefore the maximum resolution is 720x576 - CMIIW
