Firefox and Vista...

Okay, i posted a thread earlier asking if anyone else was having problems with Firefox on Vista. Then i said nevermind now its working and asked the thread be deleted. WELL, now Firefox is again not working. this time i took a screenshot of the error message it gave me.

Anyone else having this problem? Or even better... anyone know how to fix it?

I wonder what is trying to install? Maybe some sort of add-on? I've had no problems with Vista and Firefox.

Well, i right-clicked and clicked properties. then i went to the compatibility tab and selected Windows XP SP2. That didn't work. I right clicked and selected run as administrater. it worked. So then i right clicked, went to compatibility, and selected always run as administrater. now it works fine, although for some reason the vertical scroll bar on my touch pad (using a laptop) doesnt work in Firefox, even though it works no problem in Explorer.

Strange to hear other people are having no problems with Firefox and Vista....
I did a google search and found alot of other people are also having problems. Hopefully the next version will work seamlessly.

I'm also using Firefox and Vista with no problems. Strange to hear about the problem. I would assume it may have to do with one of the add ons or extensions installed.

Is it the latest release? You might want to uninstall / reinstall.

I just installed Vista in my secondary PC. I´m using Firefox 2.0.0.2 with Java run time 6.

It worked just fine. To improve the look and feel I installed the "Firefox Vista 2.0 teme" skin.
